Must See Attractions at Legoland California
If you are a Lego fan, I would highly suggest visiting Legoland in California and if you are not a Lego fan I’m sure you will be one after visiting Legoland! This is a unique amusement park that your whole family will enjoy! Legoland California has over 60 rides, numerous attractions and much more. My family enjoyed the following attractions the most:
Build and Test – This is a place where adults can rest a little in the cool A/C while your little or big kids can still have a blast! Located in the Imagination Zone, you can build a cool car or a simple one and then test it out. Will the cool car or simple car go faster? Test it out and maybe have a race with some other kids!
Miniland USA – We loved Miniland USA, I mean how could you not? Focusing on 7 different areas of the United States, with some of the coolest reproductions I have ever seen you are sure to enjoy this attraction! Also, not to be missed is the 3-dimensional art gallery that features some historical figures and pop icons! And just recently they have added a Lego Star Wars Miniland to it!
Lego Factory Tour – Since we are huge Lego fans, it was a must to see how the Lego bricks were made. The factory tour demonstrated the four step process of making the bricks. Using real automated machinery, we were able to see the molding process and then the decorating process. After that we followed the tour to see how the factory assembles and packs the Lego products. Such a wonderful learning experience and very interesting as well!
Life-sized Lego Star Wars X-Wing – Yes, it is life-size and yes everyone around us, including my family were in complete awe. Made up of over 5 million Lego bricks, weighing in at 45,980 pounds and taking 32 builders about 4 months to build it….I feel very lucky to view the world’s largest Lego model!
So, if you are close to California or heading there on vacation I would definitely put Legoland on the agenda of things to do! You can check out Legoland California here or visit them on Facebook here.
